About

Kendriya Vidyalaya, Jawaharnagar is situated in the way to Nepal from Sitamarhi in Sutihara. It is a remote locality 20 km away from the major city, Sitamarhi. A number of people live in the vicinity and not many options for proper education of their children were available here. So, need for a Kendriya Vidyalaya was felt. Consequently, in 1965, Kendriya Vidyalaya was founded here. This is a civil sector school.
